As a lead worker in the classroom, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing educational activities for pre-school aged children or infants/toddlers in our Head Start/Early Heart Start Program.
About the Role:
As a Preschool Teacher I, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our young students. Your duties will include:
Developing and implementing daily lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of each child
Conducting screenings and assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness
Creating individualized education plans to support each child's growth and development
Maintaining a safe and healthy environment, including monitoring meal and snack periods, classroom and restroom activities, and playground activities
Communicating effectively with parents through conferences, written correspondence, and telephone updates
Collaborating with other staff members to ensure a comprehensive and supportive approach to early childhood education
