We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as part-time Tutors (Clinicians) at our Learning Center in Elmhurst, IL. As a Clinician, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students of all ages, helping them to reach their full potential in reading and comprehension.
About the Role:

Prior teaching experience is not required, as we provide comprehensive paid training in our programs
Part-time positions available, with schedules generally less than 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Instruction takes place at our Elmhurst, IL Learning Center (not a remote position)
Required hours during paid training: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, for two weeks

Ideal Candidate:

Passionate about helping others reach their potential
Excellent reading, spelling, and comprehension skills
Basic computer skills and ability to type notes about student performance
Bachelor's degree preferred, but Associate's degree, Early Childhood Education certificate, or actively pursuing a degree also acceptable

Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group instruction, in-person, implementing specific lesson plans under the direction of Learning Center leadership
Facilitate the use of our curriculum for Lindamood-Bell Academy students
Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment
Manage client records electronically using a computer

Competitive hourly rate of $20 per hour
