We are seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals who are passionate about teaching group exercise classes and have a strong desire to help others. Key Responsibilities:

Teach safe and healthy movement classes, providing options for all fitness levels and abilities
Lead energizing, fun, and educational classes, including Kickboxing, Weight Lifting, High Intensity Intervals, Cycling, Dance, Yoga, and Meditation
Maintain accurate class attendance records and respond to emergency situations in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures
Collaborate with other instructors, supervisors, and staff to create a positive and supportive environment

Requirements and Qualifications:

Experience teaching group exercise classes
National Certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM) in group fitness instruction or YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise Certification
CPR, AED, and certification in areas of expertise (Cardio, Strength, Yoga, Cycle, Mat Pilates, Dance, etc.)
Demonstrated customer service and communication skills
Ability to work with diverse fitness abilities and respond to emergency situations
