We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division, you'll play a vital role in promoting and selling air travel on American Airlines, while providing exceptional customer service and support.
Job Summary:

Promote and sell air travel on American Airlines to government and corporate clients
Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve problems in a mutually beneficial manner
Communicate with customers over the phone to research passenger complaints and advise on cancelled or delayed flights
Stay up-to-date on new rules, policies, and procedures that affect customers and communicate them effectively

Requirements for Success:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training
Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills
Knowledge of Native SABRE and ability to demonstrate resourcefulness and creativity in problem resolution
High level of initiative, good judgment, and dependability
Satisfactory attendance required
