Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and student-centered Coordinator, Graduate Center to join our team at California State University, Long Beach. As a key member of our Graduate Center, you will advise and support post-baccalaureate students, coordinate events and services, and contribute to the daily operations of the center. Key Responsibilities:

Provide advising and support to current and potential graduate students, including assisting with educational issues and connecting them with campus resources
Publicize, organize, and facilitate Graduate Center events, such as workshops, conferences, and receptions, using various marketing channels, including social media and website maintenance
Support the Graduate Center Director with coordinating the Grad Mentor program and collecting data, including post-advising appointment and post-workshop surveys
Conduct outreach at on- and off-campus events and review and edit thesis and dissertation submissions for formatting
Collaborate with the Graduate Center Director to ensure the daily operations of the center run smoothly and efficiently

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of professional experience in student services or a related area
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse campus community
Experience with social media, event planning, and data collection is preferred
Commitment to serving diverse student populations and promoting a positive university experience

What We Offer:

Competitive salary range: $4,610 - $6,556 per month
