Key Responsibilities:
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and updates
Check patients in for appointments and complete necessary forms
Register new patients and update established patients
Verify and collect insurance information
Screen uninsured patients for alternate coverage options
Provide administrative support to the Patient Access Department
Rotate through all Patient Access areas and fill-in wherever needed
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
1 year of experience providing excellent direct customer service
1 year of experience working in a role that required strict attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn various computer systems
