Job Description
We're looking for an Associate Supervisor who can revitalize Amazon's customer obsession in a fast-paced retail environment. As an Assistant Manager, you'll lead a team of associates to deliver a world-class shopping experience, drive results, and maintain a dynamic store culture built on customer focus, trust, respect, continuous learning, safety, and fun.
Key responsibilities include:

Acting as the supervisor on duty, focused on delivering results while empowering a positive customer and employee experience
Managing a team of associates, including communicating expectations, managing performance, providing regular feedback, and supporting career development
Delegating effectively to drive results, including executing standard operating procedures, identifying areas for improvement, implementing solutions, and providing ongoing feedback to store employees
Maintaining a culture of engagement by regularly listening to feedback from leaders, associates, and customers and implementing solutions to address issues
Identifying areas of opportunity, determining root causes, and seeking help to implement solutions to continuously improve the overall performance and culture of the store
Maintaining a safe, clean, and secure environment to ensure the safety of all employees, customers, and products in the store

Essential Capabilities

2+ years of leadership experience in a customer-facing retail, hospitality, or grocery environment or 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience

Preferred Capabilities

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
2+ years of Amazon New Stores (Blue Badge/FTE) experience
2+ years of customer-facing grocery industry experience
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working independently in an ambiguous environment with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and metrics to support assumptions and implement effective solutions
Demonstrated success in problem-solving and delivering results
Demonstrated ability to engage, hire, and develop high-performing teams
Passion for Amazon and commitment to delighting customers
