As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you'll be responsible for:


Designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems, including layout, installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of complicated electrical equipment and circuits.
Analyzing and troubleshooting electrical malfunctions in equipment and related components, diagnosing and correcting problems quickly to avoid production delays.
Performing electrical preventative and corrective maintenance on all plant equipment, promoting teamwork and collaboration with other departments.
Participating in continuous improvement activities, reading and interpreting drawings and wiring schematics, and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.


To be successful in this role, you'll need:


A U.S. Department of Labor Completion of Apprenticeship Certificate in Electrical trade or six (6) years of documented experience as an Electrician.
The ability to satisfactorily complete the General Motors hiring process requirements, including comprehensive assessments, hair drug testing, and a background check.
At least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
Willingness to work flexible shift hours, including day, afternoon, or night shifts, as well as overtime hours daily, weekends, and holidays.
