Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for managing order processing, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. If you have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Manage order processing for customers using proprietary order entry systems.
Work with customers, sales reps, and sales management over the phone and email to resolve issues and provide product information.
Handle incoming calls and emails from customers, addressing their queries and providing timely and accurate responses.
Work with our technical support and collection personnel to expedite orders and resolve customer problems.
Process purchase orders and order restock of inventory to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
Maintain relationships with customers, gather feedback, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Answer pricing and product inquiries, and execute contract maintenance to inform customers of pricing contract changes.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the team's objectives.
Requirements:
Excellent telephone skills and the ability to handle multiple daily telephone calls in a positive manner.
Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, preferred.
Great follow-up skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to write legibly with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental objectives.
Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations and resolve problems (e.g., consolidate shipments from various suppliers and ensure documentation for export is correct).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the home furnishings or window coverings industry.
Knowledge of Hunter Douglas window coverings and other luxury home furnishings products.
Experience with proprietary order entry systems and other software applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
