Job Description:
Join the Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology team as an Associate Quality Control Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards for our media content. As a key member of our Media Experience team, you will be responsible for ensuring the excellence of our video assets, from incoming materials to finished products.

Responsibilities:

Conduct quality control checks on video assets for video and audio fidelity
Identify and report video and audio issues, ensuring prompt resolution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards and improve processes
Utilize macOS and Windows operating systems to perform quality control tasks


Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 28 hours of work per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Exemplary attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills
Self-motivated, team player with a strong ability to multitask and adapt to new situations
Basic computer and technical background, with experience working in new media and online organizations
Familiarity with streaming and broadcast media, Google apps, and video codecs (H.264)


Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in video quality control or a related field
Fluency in languages other than English
Background in encoding video for the web and understanding of various video codecs
