We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Assistant Manager - Production Excellence (Design) to join our team at Star Sports, a key catalyst in driving a multisport culture in India. As a designer, you will play a crucial role in visualizing the designing language across broadcast graphics, digital graphics, and studio designs, working closely with our design and content team to translate creative briefs into stunning visual designs.
About the Role:
As an Assistant Manager - Production Excellence (Design), you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing packaging for shows and events, managing day-to-day graphics requirements, and collaborating with external and internal partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality graphics. You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and contribute to the development of our design team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conceptualize and design packaging for shows and events as per brief from producers, adhering to Star Sports brand guidelines
Translate creative briefs into design language, creating graphics for live sports broadcasts, including scoreboards, statistics, player profiles, and animations
Manage day-to-day graphics requirements and follow up with external and internal partners for timely delivery
Support online and studio design functions and keep up-to-date with the latest design trends
Performance Measures:
Deliver end-to-end business operations with high ownership and detailed orientation
Timely delivery of high-quality creatives
Collaboration within the team and with external partners
Contribution to the development of the design team
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in motion design, with a graduation from a design school being a plus
Strong background in visual design and technical skills in software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Cinema 4D
Knowledge of 2D and 3D animations, with experience in Unreal and virtual production being an added advantage
Multitasking and ability to work under tight timelines is a must

Detailed-oriented, problem-solver, and ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines, make decisions, and adapt as per the need of the department
