As a Remote IT Support Specialist & Data Entry Professional at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in maintaining our network infrastructure and providing exceptional technical support to our internal teams. You will be responsible for supporting our desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network infrastructure while ensuring data integrity and maintaining comprehensive records of all support activities. Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Remote IT Support Specialist at arenaflex will include:
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Respond to user support requests and accurately diagnose technical issues, determining whether problems are software or hardware related
Provide first-line technical assistance for desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network infrastructure
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including printing problems, installation challenges, and system errors
Investigate technical issues by gathering information, consulting documentation, researching knowledge bases, and collaborating with internal resources
Conduct remote diagnostics and troubleshooting sessions to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
Escalate complex issues to appropriate senior technical teams when necessary while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
Client Communication
Communicate professionally with users via telephone, email, and remote support tools to discuss identified issues and concerns
Explain technical concepts in plain language to both technical and non-technical users, ensuring understanding and satisfaction
Provide step-by-step guidance to users to help them resolve common issues independently when appropriate
Follow up with clients to verify that issues have been completely resolved and gather feedback on service quality
Maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders while representing arenaflex professionally
System Administration & Maintenance
Install, configure, and update hardware and software across desktop and laptop systems
Maintain password security, data integrity, and file system security protocols
Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security settings within Active Directory
Configure and support VPN connections, remote desktop applications, and Citrix environments
Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues before they impact users
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all support activities, configurations, and resolutions
Data Entry & Documentation
Accurately enter, update, and verify data in our internal systems and databases
Complete service orders, support tickets, and maintenance records in a timely manner to prevent operational delays
Maintain accurate records of all technical support activities, including issue descriptions, resolutions, and follow-up actions
Generate reports on support activities, trends, and metrics as required
Ensure data integrity and confidentiality across all systems and records
On-Site Support & Travel
Conduct site visits within the designated region to investigate complex issues that cannot be resolved remotely
Install, configure, or update hardware and software during on-site visits when necessary
Travel between arenaflex office locations as needed to provide hands-on support and maintain system consistency
Primary work location: TXALG with potential assignments in TXDFW and TXDAL regions
