About the Role We're excited to announce a remote opportunity for a Benefit Customer Service Representative to join our team in Richardson, TX. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to help our clients navigate the enrollment process and make updates to their health care and/or pension plans. With a focus on delivering exceptional service, you'll work closely with our clients to provide personalized support and guidance, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and instant message, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Build rapport with clients and tailor your approach to meet their unique communication styles and personalities, while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy during difficult calls. Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion, adhering to HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements. Translate complex health and welfare and pension terms into simple explanations and instructions that clients can understand and act upon. Read and understand clients' plan documents and online knowledgebase tools to collect relevant information and anticipate future needs. Shifts and Scheduling: * During our busy season, you'll be expected to work a 40-hour week and overtime when requested. * During our off-season, your hours will fluctuate between 32 to 40 hours depending on client need. * NO WEEKEND SHIFTS! Monday through Friday only! * Most locations require flexibility to work an 8-hour shift between 7a-8p, but some west coast roles may require availability from 5:30a-8p.
