Job DescriptionDesign, configure, and maintain Jira Software and Jira ITSM projects in the Atlassian Cloud environment.Develop and optimize JQL queries, workflows, automations, and permissions to support business operations.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable Jira solutions.Utilize Jira REST APIs and scripting (HTML/JavaScript) for customizations and integrations.Work with key plugins such as ScriptRunner, JMWE, Email This Issue, and Extension for Jira Service Desk.Provide clear, well-structured documentation and communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.Minimum QualificationsStrong experience with Jira administration and development, with a focus on Jira Cloud.Proficiency in JQL and hands-on experience with Jira ITSM configuration.Preferred: experience migrating from Jira on-premise to cloud, including workflows and data.Familiarity with Atlassian Access and a basic understanding of Active Directory and access controls.Experience with Jira REST APIs, HTML, and JavaScript for custom development.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (CEFR C2 or equivalent), with strong documentation and stakeholder engagement.Required ExperienceManaging Jira Software and ITSM projects, including workflows, permissions, and automations 8 yearsExpert-level proficiency in JQL (Jira Query Language) for building complex queries 5 yearsUsing Jira REST APIs and scripting languages for custom integrations and enhancements 5 yearsExceptional communication/documentation skills 5 yearsHands-on experience with plugins like ScriptRunner, JMWE, and Email 3 yearsEmployers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
