JDE Sales and Distribution Consultant
Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (or World) Sales and Distribution modules. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective use of the JDE system, supporting all sales, order management, pricing, and shipping processes.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Implement, configure, and support the JDE Sales and Distribution (SD) module, including order management, sales orders, quotations, pricing, inventory management, and shipment processing.
ā¢ Analyze business requirements and translate them into JDE configuration solutions that meet client needs.
ā¢ Collaborate with business users to understand sales workflows and ensure optimal configuration in the JDE environment.
ā¢ Develop functional specifications, assist with customizations, and troubleshoot issues within the JDE SD module.
ā¢ Assist with integrations between the JDE SD module and other ERP modules, such as Finance, Inventory, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
ā¢ Perform data migrations and ensure proper data flow between systems.
ā¢ Design and develop test scripts and perform system testing, ensuring that new configurations and updates work as expected.
ā¢ Provide ongoing user support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues within the Sales and Distribution module.
ā¢ Maintain and monitor system performance and coordinate upgrades or patches when required.
ā¢ Develop and deliver user training and documentation to ensure smooth transitions and proper system use.
ā¢ Keep up to date with the latest trends in JDE and ERP technologies to suggest improvements and efficiencies.
Skills and Qualifications:
ā¢ Bachelor s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
ā¢ 3+ years of experience working with JDE Sales and Distribution (SD), specifically JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or JD Edwards World.
ā¢ Strong understanding of Sales Order Processing, Pricing, Order Fulfilment, Inventory Management, and Distribution functions within JDE.
ā¢ Experience with JDE configuration, debugging, and troubleshooting.
ā¢ Ability to translate business requirements into JDE solutions.
ā¢ Proficiency with JDE reporting tools like OneView or UBE.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of ERP systems, data integrations, and business processes.
ā¢ Experience in implementation and upgrade projects.
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with business users and stakeholders.
