Java Web Developer

12 months Contract with possibility to extension
Key Skills: J2EE/Websphere Portal/JSF Hibernate
Roles and Responsibilities:
ā¢ Designs systems and programs to meet complex business needs. Prepare detailed program specifications. Ensure programs meet standards and technical specifications; performs technical analysis and component delivery.
ā¢ Codes, tests, debug, implements, and documents moderately to complex programs.
ā¢ Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation.
ā¢ Gathers information from existing systems, analyzes program and time requirements.
ā¢ Assists project manager in preparing time estimates and justification for assigned tasks.
ā¢ Assists support and/or project personnel in resolving moderately complex program problems. Works with client and management to resolve issues and validate programming requirements within their areas of responsibility.
ā¢ Provides technical advice on complex programming.
ā¢ Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.
ā¢ Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
ā¢ Provide On-call production support
ā¢ Other duties as assigned by management
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
ā¢ Experience in Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS)
ā¢ Seasoned Development professional with three to five (5-8+) years of development exposure in J2EE based Web related technology.
ā¢ Strong Portal developer using WebSphere Portal
ā¢ Hands on Exposure to JSF /Hibernate and integration experience with other applications
ā¢ 3+ Years of experience in Angular JS technologies and Bootstrap
ā¢ 4+ Years of experience in Spring Boot and Spring frameworks
ā¢ 3+ Years of experience in Jenkins related build technologies
ā¢ 3+ years of experience in micro services architecture
ā¢ Experience with JSR 168 Portlets/ Java Specifications Request 168 Portlets
ā¢ Experience with JSF Portlets/ Java Server Faces
ā¢ Hands-on design experience using Unified Modeling Language (UML).
ā¢ Hands-on experience using development tools (e.g. WID, RAD, Eclipse)
ā¢ Agile Development Experience
ā¢ DB2/Oracle Experience
ā¢ Should have strong object-oriented development skills.
ā¢ Should be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
ā¢ Should have experience in heavy Transaction Processing and Transaction Management.
ā¢ Should have strong verbal and written communication skills and must be currently eligible to work for any employer in the United States
ā¢ Must consent to, and successfully clear all required pre-employment screening
6 + Years of Overall IT Experience.
