Contribute to strong engineering standards: Participate in architectural discussions and perform code reviews to ensure high-quality engineering practicesQualifications:Must Have:3+ years of experience in software developmentGood knowledge of Java 8 or above and the associated patterns (e.g. SOLID principles, Design Patterns)Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Web Services (REST) and persistence frameworks (JPA, Hibernate) using relational databasesHands-on experience with hexagonal architecture and domain driven design and working with a microservices architectureGood troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (debugging, source control)Strong German communication skills for collaboration with team members and clientsAdvanced English communication skills (written and spoken)Nice to have:Experience with any Cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) Good understanding of Docker and orchestration platforms like KubernetesFamiliarity with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools for automated build and deploymentFamiliarity with Apache Kafka or similar messaging platformsAs a people-first organisation, we believe diversity strengthens our teams and drives innovation.
