Java Portal Developer
Position: Java Portal Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: long term
Developer to design and develop JEE/Web Application with user interface experience as part of the IRS MeF Portal Applications. Comply with project guidelines, perform unit and integration testing, maintain web applications as required.
Primary Duties:
ā¢ Design and develop Web Applications as part of the IRS MeF solution in compliance with project guidelines - 50%
ā¢ Perform unit and development level integration testing as needed - 15%
ā¢ Perform code maintenance based on needs of IBM testing, customer testing, and production issues. - 15%
ā¢ Support of integration of MeF Portal Web Applications with MeF Backend application - 10%
ā¢ Documentation of software design and code - 10%
Required Skills/Level of Experience:
ā¢ JEE (Web Application, REST, Servlets, JSP, XML, JAXB, SAX, DOM, Log4J), HTML 5.0, JavaScript, XSLT, SOAP - 8 years
ā¢ Spring MVC v5.x framework, React, Angular, Maven, Section 508 - 4 years
ā¢ JBoss EAP v7.x Development and Administration - 4 years
ā¢ Apache Web Server v 2.4 - 4 years
ā¢ Develop automated unit tests with JUnit - 4 years
ā¢ Rational Software Architect or Eclipse or JBoss studio - 3 years
Preferred Skills:
ā¢ IBM EWM for source code and defect management
ā¢ RedHat OpenShift, Dockers, Kubernetes, Springboot
