For more information, visit us at www.vetsez.com. We are seeking a Junior Java Frontend Developer to be a part of a remote team. The Junior Developer must have experience in the creation of error free software code under the direction and supervision of senior software development managers. Must have experience in both windows and web development environments. Must be able to write software documentation. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and participate in coding activities • Work with the development team and production support team to ensure the applications are working as expected • Work with the project manager and technical lead to provide updates and progress on development projects • Maintain and assist in documenting processes to support other development efforts • Participate in Front-End (UI) Development (HTML5/CSS3) Requirements: • A Bachelors degree in computer science or any other relevant discipline is required • Experience with JavaScript (ES6) • Experience with 1 or more of these JavaScript frameworks: React, Vue.js, Angular • Familiarity with JavaScript testing frameworks / libraries (Cypress, Mocha, Jest, etc.) • Familiarity with Section 508 / UI Accessibility Requirements (Nice to have) • Experience with modern back-end development, such as Python or Node.js • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment and meet required schedules and timeliness • Ability to communicate technical issues and effective documentation skills Additional Qualifications: • Ability to obtain a government clearance Benefits: • Medical/Dental/Vision • 401k with Employer Match • PTO + Federal Holidays • Corporate Laptop • Training opportunities • Remote Opportunity Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.
