Your Role

Act as a Japanese bilingual IT Operations Support engineer, providing L1/L2 support to Japan‑based users through tickets and voice calls.

Communicate fluently in Japanese (JLPT N2/N3) with end users and stakeholders for issue resolution, coordination, and escalations.

Provide end‑user support for laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices, including handling escalated incidents.

Respond to incidents and service requests via ticketing systems while ensuring SLA adherence and proper documentation.

Assist users with login issues, password resets, and access management across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and AWS environments.

Diagnose and resolve issues related to Windows OS, standard application installations, software configurations, and system performance.

Support enterprise endpoint and cloud management tools such as SCCM, Intune, and related device management platforms.

Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams, ensuring smooth coordination with Japanese stakeholders and ODC teams.

Document troubleshooting steps, SOPs, and resolution notes clearly for continuous service improvement.

Your Profile

Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2/N3 preferred) with the ability to confidently converse with Japanese users on calls and write professional responses.

Prior experience in IT Operations / End‑User Support / Service Desk roles, preferably supporting Japanese accounts.

Hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and Active Directory user administration.

Exposure to AWS environments and basic cloud access troubleshooting is an added advantage.

Working knowledge of enterprise device management tools such as SCCM and Intune.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose technical issues efficiently.

Understanding of Japanese business culture, structured communication, and escalation etiquette.

Ability to translate technical details clearly between Japanese and English for internal coordination.

Excellent documentation skills for incident updates, SOPs, and RCA inputs.
