The position is responsible for driving the strategy and growth plans within existing and new marketplace channels with a strong focus on Amazon. This position will be responsible for channel sales goals and metrics, development of marketplace initiatives through agency and eCommerce team partnerships, and identification of new opportunities. The Marketplace Manager will report to the Director, Digital Marketplaces. Responsibilities • Develop, manage, and report marketplace plans and performance to senior management. • Identify channel and assortment optimization opportunities in collaboration with internal partners and external agencies. • Oversee cross-functional team and key stakeholders to ensure Amazon store, listings, and A+ content is up to date and completed on-time. • Partner with marketplace management agency to ensure accuracy of product, pricing, and content. • Research, develop, and launch new marketplace channels. • Interact directly and collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate assortment by marketplace channel. • Monitor competition and provide insights and actions to grow market share. • Review customer feedback and marketplace health reporting, ensuring all issues are identified and addressed. Requirements • 4+ years of experience in managing a successful Marketplace eCommerce business. • Proficiency with Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central including FBA and strong knowledge of SLA's and KPI's of the platform. • Strong knowledge of Amazon's flywheel business model. • Experience with Walmart, Target, and similar marketplaces. • Experience with Amazon advertising and campaign management. • Proven track record of managing external agencies to deliver on key initiatives to drive overall business objectives. • Excellent PC skills and ability to efficiently use basic software and platforms (Microsoft Office specifically Excel, including but not limited to pivot tables and working with large data sets). • Passion for retail eCommerce analytics and intellectual curiosity. • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. • Strong ability to multi-task, extremely organized with attention to detail. • High level of initiative (self-motivation) to take on projects independently. • Retail eCommerce experience.
