IXL Associate Product Manager

They are seeking an Associate Product Manager to help develop and launch educational products, advocate for user experience, and collaborate with various teams to ensure product success.ResponsibilitiesDeeply understand the needs of our student, teacher, and parent users, and advocate for user experience throughout all phases of product developmentDeeply understand IXL's product philosophy and strategy to make feature design and development decisionsGather context and clarify goals for new projectsWrite and communicate product requirements, conduct product reviewsCollaborate with visual designers to co-create effective, engaging product experiencesPartner with your engineering team to align technical designs with product needs and to clear implementation roadblocksCollaborate with marketing to ensure successful product launches, including crafting product positioning and messagingCoordinate with teams and leads across functions to share information, seek input, and provide clarity on product and project statusesJuggle multiple, often competing priorities and projectsForge strong partnerships with your product lead, designers, engineers, product marketers, and other key stakeholders to ensure the success of your productsBecome an expert on the IXL product, and gain domain knowledge in the education space broadlyDo whatever it takes to develop features and deliver value to our usersSkillsBachelor's degree in STEM or a related field1-3 years of experience in product management or adjacent rolesDemonstrated technical abilities; some computer science coursework or programming experience is preferredHighly developed analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills, with proven success applying them independentlyStrong written and spoken communication skills, with an eye to clarity and concisenessStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work across teams to make things happenEnthusiasm for tackling tough problems independently, from assessing high-level goals through to perfecting every detailExceptionally organized self-starter, efficient and thrives under pressureInterest in design thinking; some coursework or experience in UI/UX design is helpfulInterest in K-12 education!
