Come build with us!The opportunityAs an IT Systems Engineer at Column, you’ll ensure the secure and reliable operation of our enterprise technology ecosystem, enabling our team to deliver modern banking infrastructure to financial innovators. You will be the frontline of our Technology Operations (TechOps) function, implementing hardware and software solutions that will help our team work efficiently while also maintaining the high security standards required in a banking environment. This role reports directly to the Head of Technology Operations, and requires an in-person presence in our Presidio-based office at least 4-5 days a week. What you’ll doMaintain and optimize our endpoint management system, ensuring devices are compliant, secure, and consistently operationalProvide responsive technical support to our team members, quickly diagnosing and resolving issues for both in-office and remote employeesPartner with Engineering and Business teams to develop automated workflows that enhance employee productivity and operational efficiencyConduct proactive system health assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues before they impact operationsImplement and test disaster recovery protocols to ensure business continuity in line with banking regulationsStay updated on the latest technological trends and tools that can enhance user (employee) experience and operational efficiencyResponsible for identifying, assessing, and managing the risk associated with activities by adhering to policies and procedures established by the Bank and reporting issues identified to managementWhat you’ll need to be successful4+ years of experience in IT, Technology Operations or related functionExperience with macOS/Windows scripting languages and the ability to write scripts for endpoint management and automationExperience working with and managing Okta, AWS, GSuite, Jamf, Microsoft Intune and other SaaS productsKnowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform and other tooling is a plus but not neededSkilled at detecting and resolving technical issues with a focus on effective problem-solvingHighly self-motivated and skilled at prioritizing within a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentJamf 200 and up or Okta certifications a plusWhat you’ll get from us Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans, including options that are 100% covered by Column for you and 100% covered for your dependents!
