IT Support Technician
Provide end user support and PC network maintenance including both hardware and software
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE:
• Assist and support local and remote users to resolve both hardware-and software-related computer problems.
• -supporting laptops, desktops, and workstation computers.
• Document all user problems in company help desk software.
• Follow problems to a timely resolution.
• Work with other members of IT to resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Assist with product upgrades and new implementations.
• Roll out, repair and return PC equipment.
• Maintain computer asset inventory.
• Coordinate lease returns.
• Provide user training.
• Administer data backup program.
• Monitor and coordinate all aspects related to the telephone system, including the coordination of upgrades, changes, and day-to-day user assistance.
• Work with other IT members to resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Support and assist the Division Controller and Corporate IT Department as needed.
• Further the goals and positive, professional image of the IT Department by conducting business with other departments, vendors, and customers in a timely and cooperative manner.
• Be able to apply the information security based on ISO27001 and their impact in the workplace.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE:
• Monitor and coordinate all aspects related to the digital multi-function copy machines.
• Manage upgrade projects as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
·Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field, plus a minimum of five (5) years related work experience, or equivalent education and experience.
·Developed knowledge of PC repair, configuration, networking, Windows, MS Office and other current Company operating system platforms and assorted applications.
·Working knowledge of firewall application.
·Prefer A+ certification or MCIPT certification.
·Advanced knowledge of PC application.
·Developed written and verbal communication skills.
·Advanced computer skills with emphasis on MS Office 365 products and Teams.
