IT Support Specialist

First Colony Mortgage is a recognized mortgage and home services company in Utah, and they are seeking a motivated IT Support Specialist to join their team. This role involves providing technical support for various devices and systems, troubleshooting issues, and assisting users in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and user environmentsRespond to help desk tickets, calls, and emails with a strong focus on customer serviceTroubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, connectivity)Manage user accounts, passwords, and access in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)Support onboarding and offboarding (account setup, licensing, equipment provisioning)Assist users with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)Support Encompass (LOS) including login issues, access, and basic troubleshootingHelp configure MFA and resolve authentication/Conditional Access issuesDocument issues and resolutions in the ticketing systemEscalate more complex issues when neededSkills1–3 years of IT support or help desk experienceBasic knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentalsExperience or exposure to Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or Active DirectoryStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service mindsetAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasksMicrosoft 365 experience from a support standpoint: 1 yearExperience in the mortgage or financial services industryFamiliarity with Encompass or other Loan Origination Systems (LOS)Experience with Entra ID (MFA, user management, groups)Knowledge of Intune or endpoint management toolsExperience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice)Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft FundamentalsBasic PowerShell or scripting experienceBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceCompany OverviewFirst Colony Mortgage is a community bank that focuses on offering a complete range of mortgage and loan needs.
