About the role:We are looking for an IT Specialist with a focus on driving and ensuring security initiatives by parenting closely with our Software and Security Teams. In this role you’ll serve as one of the primary points of contact for all things IT, installation, integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This is a full-time role that is 5 days a week at our San Francisco, CA HQ. What you'll do: Troubleshoot and effectively work with technical and non-technical end-users to resolve software and hardware issuesProvision and de-provision employee computers (Mac, Windows and Linux)Maintain our software installation, and security programs such as Rippling, Vanta, SentinelOne, MDMs and moreOwning best security practices including patch management, CIS hardening, and meeting software/physical onsite security compliance requirements set forth by various compliance frameworks (SOC2/ISO:27001/ITAR)Serve as Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT help support for all Lumafield Employees and OfficesDevelop and maintain documentation for security processes and proceduresManage Neatproducts and presentation equipment in conference roomsPartner with a variety of vendors and install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications as neededUnderstand networking fundamentals and troubleshoot core networking issues (switching, routing, and WiFI access points) About you: 2-5 years of professional IT experience providing tier 1 and/or tier 2 supportExperience in Powershell and Bash; must be comfortable in a terminal environmentStrong knowledge of software installation, security, configuration and troubleshootingTrack record of continuously learning and staying up to date with new technologiesThrive in a fast-paced environment, managing changing priorities and tight deadlinesAbility to effectively communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical end-usersSelf-starter that can operate independently and work collaboratively with Software and Security Teams across our Boston and San Francisco offices Bonus points for: Experience working with Mac, Linux, G-Suite, Slack, NEAT, and ZoomExperience with MDM SoftwareTroubleshooting with Linux (mainly Ubuntu but any distribution is a bonus)Familiarity with security tools and asset management tools (Rippling, Vanta and SentinelOne)Familiarity with AWS The base salary range listed here represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance.
