Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for IT Sr. Developers in Atlanta, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software APIs and applications within our service recovery environment.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of applications.
• Analyze business requirements to provide the technical design of computer software.
• Use programming expertise in one of Delta’s standard programming languages to develop and maintain computer software.
• Develop appropriate software and documentation according to Delta’s standards.
• Support and troubleshoot computer systems, optimize performance, resolve problems, and provide timely follow-up on all problems.
• Follow Delta’s standards and methodologies in the development and implementation of computer software.
• Design and develop cloud-native applications, features, and enhancements with an emphasis on clean, highly efficient, supportable, and well-documented code for the full technological stack.
• Contribute to Agile development teams following 12-Factor application development principles.
• Analyze user and process requirements and ensure those requirements can be achieved through high-quality deliverables.
• Telecommuting permitted 2-3 days per week. 5 domestic travel required.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field, and 5 years of IT related work experience.

Must have experience in:
• Four years working with Quicksight, Tableau, and Hyperion
• Three years with AWS Cloud technologies
• Writing and executing jobs with SQL and SAS
• Agile principles and working in an Agile environment
• Working with GLUE
• Database design principles and structures to analyze and determine best structure
