IT Project Manager 1

This role involves planning, tracking, and coordinating project activities to enhance operational efficiency and user experience within HR systems. Responsibilities Assist with the planning, tracking, and reporting on the performance of multiple ongoing projects Effectively manage routine project risks Coordinate and perform technical aspects of project, research issues Review, evaluate, and monitor cost schedule and technical scope baselines Assist with the preparation and delivery of required project documentation Prepare and provide routine project status updates Skills Familiarity with Agile or iterative project delivery methodologies Familiarity with automation initiatives, workflow tools, or system integration concepts Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, or similar systems Ability to support project coordination across multiple stakeholders, including scheduling, meeting facilitation, and follow-up tracking Attention to detail in managing project documentation, status reporting, and deliverables Ability to contribute to project planning, risk identification, and issue resolution within defined areas of responsibility Bachelor's Degree and no experience or equivalent education and experience Knowledge of information technology applications, processes, software, and equipment Knowledge of IT project management principles (e.g., Agile) and software Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Interpersonal, written, communication, presentation, and organizational skills At least one year of experience supporting projects or project-related work, internship, academic, or professional experience Benefits Health Requirements Background Check Requirements Company Overview Yale University is a research and education institution that prioritizes its students.
