Job Description
Position : IT Production Support Analyst
Location : Remote - Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Duration : Long term contract
Interview Process
ā¢ * First round with hiring manager.
ā¢ Second round technical interview (problem-solving scenario to assess calmness, approach, and handling of ambiguity).
Note
100% remote Shift is Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
12.5 hours each day ~6am Eastern time - 6pm Eastern time.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Triage and troubleshoot problems. Attempt to solve. Escalate to another team if you can't solve it immediately
ā¢ Look through logs, databases, applications to find the problem/root cause
ā¢ Automate or improve processes by developing scripts, code/apps
Qualifications
5+ yrs of experience
ā¢ Ability to learn quickly and retain information
ā¢ People skills (good communication, approachable, good energy, handles stressful situations, etc.)
ā¢ Problem solver (does not need to code)
ā¢ AWS experience nice to have
ā¢ Monitoring tool (Splunk, Grafana, HoneyComb, AWS CloudWatch) experience nice to have
ā¢ Control-m & scripting skills nice to have
ā¢ ServiceNow experience nice to have
ā¢ Mainframe experience nice to have
Ideal Candidate Profile
ā¢ Strong technical aptitude with some hands-on experience in any relevant technologies.
ā¢ Backgrounds that help:
ā¢ Mainframe exposure (nice to have)
ā¢ AWS monitoring tools (nice to have)
ā¢ Any coding/development experience (not required but beneficial; top analysts typically have it)
ā¢ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle ambiguity.
ā¢ Must be comfortable learning a large and diverse technical environment.
ā¢ Looking for someone willing to stay 2 3 years due to long learning curve.
ā¢ Potential for conversion to full-time if performance and fit are strong fit
