The IT Operations Technician is responsible for supporting Axsome’s technology operations and business programs that underpin Axsome’s business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a background in technical support in a small to medium-sized company. This is a hands-on role that is instrumental in providing exceptional technological support to our internal stakeholders.This role is based at Axsome’s HQ in New York City with an on-site requirement of at least three days per week. We are unable to consider candidates who are looking for fully remote roles. Job Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Assist in a wide variety of on-premise hardware, software, and inventory management dutiesProcure, manage, monitor, configure, deploy, ship, and maintain hardware and software technology assetsAssist in maintaining and troubleshooting:A/V conference facilities, laptops, mobile devices, and softwareITSM toolset, structure, metrics reporting and documentation (JIRA)Core MSOffice (M365)NetworkingPrintersDeploy hardware and install specialist softwareAssist with onboarding and offboarding processesInteract with multiple vendors to support Axsome IT helpdesk and warehousing processesVIP technology support (Windows, MacOS, iOS)Develop and maintain support documentationAssist in maintaining HQ IT infrastructure solutionsAssist with M365 administration and occasional operations engineering and automation tasksRemain up to date on emerging operational technologies and their potential utilityRequirements / QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related field, accompanied by 2+ years of helpdesk support experience, or a combination of equivalent experience, training, and educationExperience with modern mobile and desktop hardware and software technologiesAbility to manage multiple, simultaneous, high-priority tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work on site Monday, Tuesday & Thursday. The salary offer will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, internal equity and location.
