IT Operations – Security Manager
Job Description:
• Lead and mentor the IT Operations & Security team in a remote 24/7 environment
• Manage monitoring systems, SIEM, EDR, and endpoint security platforms
• Oversee incident triage, escalation, and resolution with minimal downtime
• Build and refine playbooks, processes, and controls aligned with SOC, NIST, and CIS
• Conduct audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments
• Track and report on KPIs (uptime, MTTR, SLA performance, team efficiency)
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to maintain service quality
• Drive automation, SOAR, and process optimization for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• 6+ years in IT operations & security, with 3+ years in leadership
• Proven experience managing 24/7 operations teams
• Strong knowledge of SOC, NIST, and CIS frameworks
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, and cloud security
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ITIL, or GIAC strongly preferred
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
