Job Title: IT Helpdesk Support Specialist - Laboratory IT (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)
Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our team and provide technical assistance for Laboratory IT systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IT support, familiarity with GXP and GMP regulations, and a strong background in supporting laboratory operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and compliance of our laboratory IT infrastructure within the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Laboratory IT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
Collaborate with laboratory staff and IT teams to address technical issues, ensure system reliability, and minimize downtime in compliance with GXP and GMP regulations.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, backups, and security patches, to maintain the integrity and security of laboratory IT systems.
Assist in the implementation of new IT systems and technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing laboratory workflows and compliance requirements.
Document support activities, including incident reports, service requests, and resolution procedures, to maintain a comprehensive record of IT support activities and compliance efforts.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Laboratory IT support, GXP/GMP regulations, and emerging technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT support services.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 to 7 years of working experience
Proven experience in IT support roles, preferably in a laboratory or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with GXP and GMP regulations, with experience in implementing and maintaining compliant IT systems and processes.
Strong technical skills in hardware and software troubleshooting, network administration, and IT security.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with laboratory staff, IT teams, and regulatory authorities.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and documentation in a regulated environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while adhering to strict deadlines and regulatory requirements.
