IT Cost Analyst

Currently, we are searching for an IT Cost Analyst to fulfill an immediate vacancy. The IT Cost Analyst’s principal responsibilities are to support IT Leadership by contributing to world class Expense analyses and providing thought-provoking, value-adding insight into business performance. The IT Cost Analyst will assist with the identification of operational improvement opportunities and drive decision-making by collecting, managing, analyzing, and disseminating cost information and analyses. Responsibilities: • Design and implement cost models and key performance indicator reports to drive value in the IT Organization • Analyze profit & loss statements, explaining variances in performance and monitoring actions to ensure delivery of financial commitments for each IT Department • Prepare and participate in cost and operational discussions with IT leaders • Partner with various IT Department leaders to drive additional cost controls through analysis and reporting • Liaison with Finance Department leaders to help inform IT spend forecast and long-term outlook • Coordinate with Finance Department to identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and modeling tools • Assist in the creation of IT executive presentations • Lead and participate in ad hoc projects assigned by IT leaders Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics from an accredited institution • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Business Analysis/Planning • Experienced with data modeling, analysis, and data visualization/business intelligence tools • Advanced experience in PowerPoint and Excel to include pivot tables and complex formulas • Must possess proven ability at problem solving • Must possess the ability to identify and communicate solutions to complex business opportunities in a time-critical environment • Must be highly organized and detail oriented If your background, skills, and interests match the qualifications above, please apply online to ensure your credentials are reviewed by a skilled recruiter immediately.
