IoT Field Technician

Disruptive Technologies is a leader in innovative IoT solutions, delivering cutting-edge wireless sensor technology. They are seeking an IoT Field Technician responsible for planning and executing installations of IoT hardware at customer locations, along with supporting installation planning and operational processes. Responsibilities Travel to customer sites to install IoT hardware (up to 50%) Plan and coordinate installations, including site preparation and logistics Ensure installations are completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and connectivity issues (on-site and remotely) Prepare installation plans, documentation, and required materials Coordinate with internal teams and customers to schedule installations Assist with order processing, packaging, shipping, and inventory management Deliver a professional and positive customer experience Skills Entry-level experience Experience with technical installations, field service, or similar hands-on roles Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Basic understanding of networking, wireless systems, or IoT devices Experience with low-power wireless technologies or sensor deployments Familiarity with mobile apps, cloud platforms, or device configuration tools Background in electrical, IT, or technical field work Benefits Opportunity to work with innovative IoT technology Dynamic role combining fieldwork and in-office responsibilities Growth opportunities within a fast-growing technology company Company Overview Disruptive Technologies is a measurement and data delivery company.
