iOS Engineer - $150k - Remote - Consumer Start Up James Chase Solutions is currently looking for an experienced iOS Engineer for my fantastic client based in San Francisco. You will expand the engineering team and help build the next generation of the top-ranked iOS app — redefining strength training while expanding into new verticals like health and social. Main duties – • End-to-end iOS development — you’ll be the go-to person for all things Swift, UIKit/SwiftUI, and native performance • Translate Figma files into smooth UI with cinematic polish and delightful interactions • Build and maintain core features like chat, audio engine, etc. • Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend to ship fast and iterate based on real-time user feedback • Set up scalable architecture and implement best practices around testing, crash analytics, performance, etc. • Drive quality: mentor others, own code reviews, and raise the bar • User experience: you don’t just ship code, you build and test as a user Must have an active Github and worked at an early or growth stage startup and come from a consumer app background You will be a highly experienced iOS Engineer with strong experience of - • UIKit and SwiftUI • 5+ YOE developing iOS apps with Swift • Experience shipping consumer apps with real customer engagement at large consumer companies • Worked at early stage startup (ideally consumer) and demonstrates they can move quickly at early stage • Has shipped 0 to 1 products independently and can explain API integrations, state management, and design implementation Please note – I am not in the office and working from home on my mobile, so will get in touch ASAP if your application is successful.
