Position: Mobile Game Developer (Solar2D Corona SDK)

Compensation: $50 - $150/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities:
• Design, prototype, and build cross-platform mobile games using Solar2D with Lua scripting
• Implement gameplay mechanics and game systems from concept to deployment
• Optimize game performance across a wide range of mobile devices
• Integrate monetization features such as in-app purchases and ad networks
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and developers to refine gameplay experiences
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve development quality
Requirements:
• Experience developing mobile games with Solar2D (Corona SDK) and Lua scripting
• Strong understanding of cross-platform game deployment for iOS and Android
• Ability to prototype quickly in fast-paced development environments
• Knowledge of optimizing mobile game performance and managing device compatibility
• Experience integrating monetization features such as advertisements and in-app purchases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and attention to detail
• Portfolio showcasing mobile games developed with Solar2D or Corona SDK
• Familiarity with app store submission processes and analytics tools
• Experience working with remote and multicultural teams
