Role: Investment Banking Director Location: REMOTE - ideally based in the Southeast or Midwest Compensation: $200k - $225k base with competitive bonus Firm Overview: We are currently partnered with a specialty boutique investment bank based in Houston, TX looking to add a Director to their active team. The Director will play a critical role in the succession planning of the firm and will enjoy a quick path to MD and later, a path to partner. The firm focuses primarily on M&A transactions in the Diversified Industrials and Energy spaces, and primarily serves clients in the middle and lower middle market. They have done extremely well and are looking for a strong addition to the team who is excited by the white space this opportunity offers. The Investment Banking Director will be responsible for: Assisting in execution on current live deals Training and Mentoring additional junior resources Creating a Business Development Plan Conducting Business Development and originating new clients and new deals Serving as a primary point of contact for new and existing clients Working closely with Senior leadership and firm partners Developing a book of business The Investment Banking Director should have: At least 8 years of experience in Investment Banking/M&A Exposure to business development A specialization within Industrials/Diversified Industrials (i.e. Manufacturing, Building Products, Paper, Packaging, Plastics, Water, etc.) A Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Located in the Southeast or Midwest If you're interested in learning more about this exciting opportunity, please do not hesitate to apply in below!
