Your Key ResponsibilitiesAs International Tax Advisory Manager, you will have some vital duties and responsibilities, intrinsic to the success of the business. They include:Oversight of fund and investment management structures in the UAE and the broader MENA region, Rationalisation and restructuring of the group structure, Assessment of operating models and agreements with a tax perspective, Evaluation of risks and application of specific exemptions for the professional fund and investment advisory sector Review of holding structure, capital structure and financing arrangements, Creation of tax risk management guidelines and evaluation of governance structures from a tax perspective. RequirementsTo be considered for this International Tax Advisory Manager role, you should hold a relevant university degree, ideally complemented by an advanced qualification in a taxation-related discipline, or a professional tax certification. You should bring 4 to 5 years of relevant tax experience, including at least 3 years with a ‘Big 4’ firm (or equivalent). Expertise in international taxation, particularly inbound and outbound investments and tax structuring, working with global and international clients, would be ideal. Experience within the professional asset management industry, going beyond tax compliance or reporting, would also be highly beneficial.As an individual, you should be able to demonstrate strong organizational, project management, analytical, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
