International Portfolio Management Associate
Dodge & Cox is a well-respected investment management firm, and they are seeking an International Portfolio Management Associate to support portfolio construction and investment research for the International Stock Fund. The role involves monitoring investments, conducting analyses, and assisting with client communications, ultimately preparing associates for future business school opportunities. Responsibilities Support the Director of International Research on investment research and client projects Monitor portfolio investments, competitors, and industry developments Attend weekly portfolio management meetings and write meeting minutes Create research summaries on individual companies and/or broader topics to enhance decision-making Research, analyze, and perform due diligence on potential investments Build and maintain financial and valuation models Create research summaries and investment-related presentation materials Perform fundamental and quantitative analyses to compare companies in the portfolio Conduct portfolio attribution analysis to explain performance Utilize databases and applications to examine portfolio holdings and screen for new ideas Assist in creating and updating communication materials, especially during quarter-end Skills 1-2 years of experience at an investment management firm, hedge fund, investment bank, or management consulting firm Excellent academic record with coursework in Finance, Economics, Accounting, and Statistics Demonstrated experience and interest in value investing, financial markets, and investment management Strong attention to detail and ability to summarize information and craft compelling cases Initiative and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong quantitative, analytical, and computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, and FactSet Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment Data science coursework is a plus Familiarity with Python and/or Tableau is a plus Benefits Coverage of 100% of all healthcare premiums for employees and their families Fully funding a retirement plan at 25% of the total compensation to the IRS limit Commuter Health & wellness Backup care Matching gift Employee assistance Life and disability insurance Company Overview Dodge & Cox American is Fund management company,provides professional investment management services to individuals, retirement funds, and.
