Requirements We are seeking an experienced International Head of Accounting to lead and harmonize accounting functions in a dynamic international environment across multiple jurisdictions (minimum 2–3), including Europe (e.g., Cyprus) and the United States. The ideal candidate will ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and standardized accounting processes, while effectively managing the complexities of multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction operations. Key Responsibilities Global Accounting & Reporting Oversee accounting operations across all international entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial records Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes across jurisdictions Ensure alignment of accounting policies with IFRS and/or local GAAP, maintaining consistency where possible Compliance, Tax & Governance Ensure full compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting, working with local advisors Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks Multi-Entity & Cross-Border Coordination Align accounting practices and reporting standards across multiple legal entities Manage and oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and transfer pricing coordination Act as the central point of coordination between finance teams in different countries Financial Planning & Business Support Support the CFO/Finance Director in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Provide insights into profitability, cash flow, and cost structures across international operations Identify financial risks and recommend data-driven actions to support business decisions Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the finance function. Process Optimization & Systems Drive standardization and automation of accounting processes across entities Improve reporting efficiency and data quality through system enhancements Ensure consistency in chart of accounts, reporting templates, and financial controls Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop accounting teams across multiple locations Ensure consistent performance standards, training, and knowledge sharing Build a scalable finance function capable of supporting international growth Requirements : Mandatory: fluency in English and Russian Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, specifically in a Chief Accountant / Head of Accounting role Proven experience managing accounting for international companies across multiple jurisdictions (at least 2–3), such as Europe (including Cyprus) and the United States Strong hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting for multiple entities Experience managing an accounting team (currently 4 team members) Experience with QuickBooks is preferred (not mandatory) Benefits Attractive compensation package: base salary $3,500 -3,800 + annual bonus up to $10,000 Work in a fast-growing, international company with high-quality premium products Opportunities for personal and professional growth.
