Internal Wholesaler / Investment Consultant

The Investment Consultant role involves providing sales support and client service while partnering with field sales professionals to promote investment solutions to financial advisors.ResponsibilitiesProvide proactive sales support and client service within a defined territory via phone, email and virtual meetingsWork as a partner with field sales to develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed sales goalsCreate a strong follow up process and daily sales plan to foster sales leads and deliver on client expectationsDocument relevant client interactions in the client relationship management (CRM) systemLeverage data intelligence to create targeted sales and service campaignsDevelop strong market and product knowledge to effectively communicate and demonstrate credibility with clientsEnsure timely completion of tasks for assigned marketing and sales campaignsMeet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales activity targetsSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceSIE, Series 7 & 63 licenses (or equivalent) or Series 6 and 63 (with a commitment to obtain the SIE and Series 7 upon hire) are requiredPreviously held series 7 and 63 licenses that are inactive will be considered, provided that all required exams are retaken and passed within three months of being hiredMinimum 1 year of experience in financial sales or financial services industryProven ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externallyAbility and desire to learn about financial markets and financial solutionsUnderstanding of sales technology tools a plus (i.e. Seismic, Salesforce, Y Charts, MPI etc)Ability to work in team environment and build partnerships to achieve common goalsExcellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills, with a proven track record of delivering effective resultsStrong written and verbal communication skillsBenefitsComprehensive medical, dental and vision insurancePaid time off401k planTuition reimbursementStudent loan repayment programWellness benefitsVolunteer programsCompany OverviewNatixis Investment Managers’ multi-affiliate approach connects clients to the independent thinking and focused expertise of more than 15 active managers.
