Internal Sales Consultant

The Internal Sales Consultant will engage with financial advisors regarding mutual fund and separate accounts products, implementing strategies to increase sales and cultivate new clients.ResponsibilitiesEngage with financial advisors through virtual meetings, phone calls, and digital communications regarding our mutual fund and separate accounts product suiteImplement tactical strategies using data to increase sales, prepare weekly action plans, retain assets and cultivate new clientsDevelop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of financial markets, Nomura products and services, and the competitive landscapeDiscuss the array of products across all disciplines (fund objectives, portfolio structures, investment management process and strategy benchmarks)Maintain and update the Client Relationship Management system (Salesforce) for all advisor client activitiesField inbound calls from partners and advisor clientsShare thoughtful sales ideas with the rest of the Internal Sales Consultants and Regional DirectorsSkillsBachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field, with some experience in selling financial productsExperience analyzing data to create a business plan and willingness to act on the business plan through virtual meetings, phone calls, digital communications, and travel (5-10%)Strong Interpersonal, verbal and writing skills, and a general willingness to grow a business through relationship buildingSIE, Series 7 and Series 66 licences (or SIE 7, 63, and 65)BenefitsSign-on bonusRestricted stock unitsDiscretionary awardsEligibility for commissions for applicable sales rolesFull range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits401(k) eligibilityVarious paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leaveCompany OverviewNomura is an investment banking and securities firm that serve the needs of individuals, institutions, corporate and governments.
