You may choose to work from home in Mumbai; however, you will be required to travel to our Andheri East office for business requirements, meetings, or company/team events. Weâre looking for a Social Media Intern who is excited about content, trends, and storytelling to help grow Paperpalâs presence across social platforms. This is a great opportunity to work closely with a fast-moving marketing team and gain hands-on experience in building a global product brand.At Paperpal, weâre shaping how researchers and academics write, edit, and publish their work. Job responsibilities:
â˘Support the execution of Paperpalâs social media strategy across our Instagram channels, and YouTubeâ˘Assist in publishing and managing posts, reels, and videos across platformsâ˘Help identify and adapt trending content formats for the academic and research audienceâ˘Support social media campaigns around product launches, webinars, and new feature announcementsâ˘Monitor and help us maintain an active community
Qualifications and prerequisites:
â˘Students or recent graduates interested in marketing, content, or social mediaâ˘Someone who spends time on platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, or YouTube and understands social trendsâ˘Strong communication and organizational skillsâ˘Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment Bonus (Not Mandatory)â˘Experience creating Reels, Shorts, or social media contentâ˘Familiarity with tools like Canva or Capcut.What Youâll Learnâ˘How to build and grow social media channels for a global AI productâ˘How high-performing social content is planned, created, and distributedâ˘How marketing teams run content experiments to drive reach and engagementâ˘How social media contributes to brand awareness and user growthWhy Join Usâ˘Work on a product used by researchers and academics worldwideâ˘Get hands-on experience with real marketing campaigns and content strategyâ˘Opportunity to contribute ideas and see them go live across our social platformsâ˘Learn from a team working on AI-powered tools transforming academic writing
