Responsibilities Apply your classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of our country Work on projects that support some of our nation’s fundamental defense services Work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associated with our core mission Contribute to CONOPS, requirements definition, software modeling, analysis, design, integration, test, and verification of these systems Skills Thorough understanding of engineering technology Enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline Preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher U.S. citizenship is required Clear understanding of the software engineering concepts, principles, theories, software development process, and agile methodology Clear understanding of the software development process, with agile experience Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others Embedded Software Automated testing Programming experience in C, C++, Python Benefits Flexible work environment Competitive benefits Company Overview General Dynamics is a defense industry contractor for shipbuilding, marine, combat and defense systems and, munitions.
