You’ll partner with analysts and cross‑functional teams to uncover customer trends, evaluate program engagement and retention, and contribute to scalable analytics solutions. We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative and social purposes. Apply now and grow your career with Best Buy as an intermediate data analyst. What you’ll do: • Deliver actionable insights on loyalty program performance, including membership growth, engagement trends, churn dynamics, and customer lifecycle behavior. • Build reliable datasets by integrating internal customer, transactional, and engagement sources, ensuring data quality and analytical readiness. • Develop scalable analytics workflows using Python and Snowflake SQL to monitor customer cohorts, track performance over time, and automate recurring analyses. • Apply statistical methods, randomized experiments, and causal inference techniques to evaluate program changes, assess impact, and support evidence‑based decision‑making. • Create intuitive dashboards and visualizations in Power BI that clearly communicate trends and opportunities to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. • Collaborate closely with marketing, CRM, loyalty, product, and finance teams to support strategic initiatives and evaluate enhancements to the loyalty program. What we’re looking for: • 3+ years of experience with strong applied analytics foundation, including statistics, probability, A/B testing, and causal analysis (e.g., difference‑in‑differences, matching methods, uplift modeling). • Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake preferred), with experience building efficient transformations and data models. • Comfort navigating ambiguity and independently identifying high‑impact analytical opportunities. • Skilled at translating quantitative findings into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences. • Experience with Power BI for dashboards and reporting.
