Integrated Media Planner

About the position

The Integrated Media Planner is responsible for preparing and implementing client media plans of all types for existing and prospective clients. This includes audience identification, research, development, presentation and purchasing of media plans & buys. The Integrated Media Planner is an expert at understanding emerging trends and best practices across the omni-channel media world. This position is supported by subject matter experts (Supervisor and/or Planner) in traditional and digital media channels and also by coordinators who are assisting in workflow, partner integration, billing, traffic and reporting functions.

Responsibilities
β€’ Research, develop, and plan media for specific clients
β€’ Possess and maintain an understanding of media planning and buying across mediums – including television (national and spot), radio, print, digital, programmatic, mobile and social media
β€’ Present media plans to internal and client audiences
β€’ Gather, organize and present competitive research and spending data
β€’ Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and foster innovative solutions
β€’ Work closely with research and account service team members to frame and participate in strategy development, set goals and participate in the measurement process
β€’ Negotiate best possible rates, special parameters, value-added sponsorships and promotions and justify all media recommendations
β€’ Take a lead position in the campaign review process – leading teams to better performing work
β€’ Manage and oversee campaign execution/optimizations across self service channels such as Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, The Trade Desk and others
β€’ Manage Optimization Specialists to ensure work quality and foster strong relationships and career growth
β€’ Communicate in a clear, coherent and professional manner
β€’ Develop and facilitate strong relationships across the agency, and in workflow
β€’ Represent the team and the agency in a positive manner in all endeavors

Requirements
β€’ 3-5 years of agency experience in media planning and buying, including digital and/or paid social experience
β€’ A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
β€’ Strong written and verbal presentation skills and style
β€’ Ability to manage people and projects smoothly and efficiently
β€’ Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating energy and passion for the work
β€’ Effective problem-solver and generator of innovative solutions
β€’ Focused on delivering great work, no matter project size or complexity
β€’ Versed in applicable software and technology platforms
β€’ Proficient in Google Suite applications and media research/planning tools
