Responsibilities
Ā Knowledge of Medicare/insurance reimbursement issues and regulations to include coverage criteria.
Ā Demonstrated organizational skills within a complex, fast-paced environment.
Ā Completes work with accuracy and within assigned time frames.
Ā Requires minimal supervision and is self-directed.
Ā Adheres to company infection control and safety policies, including education, reporting and practice implementation specific to job position.
Ā Develops cooperation and collaborative work efforts that generally benefit all involved parties.
Ā Demonstrates the initiative to meet the needs of the organization by assisting co-workers when workload permits.
Ā Adheres to policies and procedures and is flexible to changes in duties and responsibilities.
Ā Possesses strong Microsoft Office skills.
Ā Excellent oral/written communication, presentation, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
Ā Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ā High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ā Two years of administrative experience .
Ā Reliable internet service and ability to work from home with minimal disruption to the workday.
Preferred
Ā Two years of experience in a healthcare environment.
Ā Home health or hospice intake experience.
Ā Homecare home base experience.
Schedule:
Ā 20+ hours per week available, including weekends
Ā Schedules typically begin mid-day
