Insurance Underwriting Assistant

The Underwriting Assistant is responsible for supporting the underwriting operations in the San Juan Capistrano office. This position will serve as support for the Mobile Home Parks and Mobile Home Owners teams. This role will also provide assistance and training to our Customer Service Center and Agents, in addition to supporting the day-to-day underwriting process. Responsibilities: • Process policy changes which include rating • Reviews inspections for quality and accuracy. Pursues corrective action needed • Assist agents in policy and coverage questions • Provide input to leadership on underwriting guidelines and procedures • Assist in reviewing renewal accounts and assessing overall risk Other duties as needed in support of Underwriting, Sales, and Customer Service Qualifications/Requirements • Minimum 2 years of related experience • P&C Insurance experience preferred Apply tot his job
