Insurance Claims - Sr Forensic Accountant #25812
Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an insurance services organization, is seeking a skilled Insurance Claims - Sr Forensic Accountant. This role is responsible for preparing complex insurance claim calculations, analyzing financial records tied to business interruption losses, and reviewing policy and claim documentation to support engagements. The position also partners with clients and carriers throughout the claims review process while helping maintain organized engagement records and support growth initiatives.
Job Duties
• Prepare claim calculations and supporting Excel models
• Analyze financial records, including payroll, invoices, and income statements
• Review insurance policies and claims documentation
• Communicate with clients and insurance carriers
• Maintain engagement documentation
Skills & Experience Required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 4–8 years of forensic accounting experience
• 4+ years in business interruption claims
• Insurance claim preparation/review experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Desired
• CPA, CFE, AIC, CPCU, or similar
• Experience with complex claim calculations
• Exposure to client-facing insurance engagements
