About the position

As a Claims Service Specialist at GEICO's Virginia Beach, VA office, you will play a crucial role in assisting our policyholders during one of the most stressful times in their lives—after an accident. This position is designed for individuals who are motivated, solution-oriented, and empathetic to customer needs. You will undergo a comprehensive training program that lasts between 6 to 9 months, conducted entirely in-office. After training, you will transition to a hybrid work model, spending four days a week in the office and one day working from home. This structure allows you to develop your skills in a supportive environment while also enjoying the flexibility of remote work. In your role, you will be responsible for collecting facts about accidents, investigating claim details, and gathering statements from all parties involved. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in ensuring that our policyholders receive the support they need to get back on the road as quickly as possible.
